Before he passed, he made sure that I was aware of everything here and was for me to help with my finances.Im not going to get into complete details about everything but I will say that I hadnt planned on getting rid of any of this quite yet but my yellow lab pup I purchased May 1st was diagnosed with Grade IV hip diplasyia at its worst and there was no way on this earth that I could have just givin him painpills for the rest of his life (very cheap option) so needless to say, a week ago he had his surgery and the bill was very pricey, so im pretty much in a position now where his intentions for me having his collection will help out more then ever! There are 257 pieces to this auction. It mainly consists of campaign buttons and pins, but also has a letter from former president Richard Nixon that is dated October 26 1968 and signed by the former president himself,that has its orignial envelope that it was shipped in.this has more then likely been its frame thats its in now since the letter was received. IT IS IN MINT CONDITION! He also had a Nixon Agnew official campaign materials catalog that is also MINT. 255 items of this auction consists of presidential campaign buttons and pins minus one, which is an old Nixon zippo style lighter. there are NUMEROUS different polititian buttons and pins. some have some rust on the back, but not many and for being as old as they are, MOST ARE IN SUPERB SHAPE! I would prefer to make this a local deal, but all are welcome. The buy it now price listed is what the whole intention of these items being sold is for and that is to help with finances. I personally have no idea what everything could be worth as a bundle, but I know what its worth to me.I recently seen a signed document from Mr. Nixon similiar to mine on ebay selling for $9,999 or best offer. I took everything to one only local antique shop just to get an idea and she suggested that I take everything to the local fairgrounds and get it appraised, reason being is because of the quantity and she also stated that i had some rare buttons.These items as a whole could be worth $1, it could be worth $20,000, I really dont know,but again I am selling it for the price listed based on what the whole intention of his set was suppose to be used for and thats all that matters to me.Everything will be packaged perfectly and will be fully insured for the whole amount paid.
