Description
Autographed Signed Kellogg Cereal Postcard 1917 !! Extremely rare signed Kellogg postcard. Will Keith Kellogg (1860-1951) along with his brother were co-inventors and founders of Kellogg's Corn Flakes. The card was sent in 1917 with Santa Cruz California CDS to E.O. Lewis (A Cashier at a bank) in El Segunda California. Kellogg writes, "Seabright, Cal. Wire me if you are not going to be home next week. We are coming down. Kellogg" Toning and corner wear, Fine condition. Kellogg signatures are very rare. The only comparable I found was for $1,000.00 on a blank card without context. This signature is on an advertising postcard for his cereal! Please take a look at my other St. Louis World's Fair Exposition Postcards. I'm breaking up a collection of over 180 items to include many Hold To Lights & other paper ephemera, all related to the Expo! Each with a low start of $9.95! Scanned on black background to help show condition. There is a clickable link below the postcard image to view a larger picture. The scans accurately reflect the condition yet if you have any questions please feel free to ask me. These cards are so beautiful yet I can't collect everything. Please enjoy! Check out the other items I have for sale! I prefer paypal and it is required for international transactions as the bank fees otherwise are prohibitively expensive. I ship worldwide. If buying a single item, shipping is $1.50 domestic and $3.00 overseas. I tend to list a lot of material over a week's time period. If you are interested in several items that close on different days please note that I will happily combine shipping based on weight and that there is no need to pay until all the items you are interested in have closed. In many cases the shipping rate will remain the same as if only one item was purchased. In cases where registration is required which is strongly recommended on shipping values over $100 I will send you an invoice with the required shipping cost. Currently, for international registered mail, this is running from $14.00 to $16.00.Payment is expected within 7 days of auction close. All items guaranteed with a 7-day money back, no questions asked return policy.Hello from National Chess Master, Richard Benjamin. I have been collecting stamps since I was 7 and chess philately for nearly 20 years. I've also zealously collected postcards for the past 6 years. In the past 5 years I have been an active buyer and seller of postal history, postcards, books, and other chess related products. Through buying and selling on ebay I have been able to better my collection while helping fellow collectors worldwide. I believe in completely accurate descriptions and the conservative grading of material. I offer buyers a 7-day money back guarantee on everything I sell.
